Gatekeeper is the name of the new line created through a collaboration between Alec & Bradley and Ernesto Perez-Carillo. The Gatekeeper cigar is covered with a Habano wrapper from Ecuador. The insert comes from tobacco grown in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, and is held in shape by a Nicaraguan leaf. The cigar is produced in Ernesto Perez-Carillo’s factory, Tabacalera La Alianza S.A in the Dominican Republic. Ernesto has supported Alec & Bradley with his knowledge and experience in the process of making this cigar. Not for nothing is he called the “godfather of boutique cigars”. The cigar’s rich profile is accentuated by aromas such as cedar wood combined with hints of hazelnut and a little leather.
