Medium in strength and a characteristic Romeo y Julieta style. Robust and complex flavours such as floral, nutty, herbal or woody among others with none of them standing out in particular. The minimum recommended ageing for this cigar is at least three years. Strength 3/5.
Shorter in length tha No 1 and No 2.
Review #45: FEB 22 I was given this cigar as a present so I really wanted to enjoy it, I waited for a Saturday evening when I had the time to relax and enjoy the experience.
Unfortunately things didn’t go well from the start, the cold draw was almost impossible which didn’t bode well, things didn’t get any better.
Almost impossible to smoke as the draw was so difficult, couldn’t get enough smoke to really taste the cigar, the only good point was it stayed lit.
Overall very disappointing. – Submitted by Mrmarpat on March 2, 2024
Review #44: JAN 10 I think that the reviews about this cigar are too severe. At he beginning. I would divide the review into three parts, which are equivalent to each cigar tercio. At the beginning shy: it doesn’t leave a very distinguishable flavours in the mouth. Second part: are clearly notes of dried fruits and a bit of pepper. In the third part there’s a switch between dried fruits and pepper but honestly it remains acceptable (not obvious in cigar of this kind). Would say 6.5/10 – Submitted by The Italian Guy on January 10, 2022
Review #43: Came home after a hard days work and wanted a cheap cuban cigar. Opened my humidor and chose the no3. Poured a cotswolds gin and tonic garnished with a slice of ruby red grapefruit. To be honest it’s a struggle. I’m picking up my lighter every few minutes to tidy up or re-light. Very crappy draw and flavours aren’t anything to look forward to. I almost feel like lighting up another one of my cubans after this one because I’m just not satisfied. Sometimes when I have a cheap one I re-buy because it’s good for my friends who aren’t cigar smokers but this one isn’t even good for that. That’s my opinion and I understand some may enjoy it – Submitted by npgSymboL on June 23, 2020
Review #42: Neat cigars. Come in a nice tube and are not as pricey as other Cubans. If you have higher standards and are a frequent smoker of expensive Cubans, I understand that this one won’t get a high rating from you. But for those who don’t smoke as much and have more limited access to exclusive cigars, I am sure this will do well. I recommend it.
Sturdy built, good burn and a nice thick nutty/spicy taste. Not too mild or too heavy, well balanced. I really enjoyed this one. – Submitted by Dylan4 on May 16, 2019
Review #41: Most horrible smoke I’ve had in recent memory; bought a pack of 3 on Toronto Airport recently, big waste of money.
If you need just a smoke, that’s all you need. – Submitted by kwhunter on October 22, 2018
