Días de Gloria Brazil, one of two new lines shown off by AJ Fernandez earlier this spring, is now heading to stores.
It’s a follow-up to the original Días de Gloria, a Nicaraguan puro that the company introduced five years ago. As the name would imply, the Días de Gloria Brazil uses some Brazilian tobacco, specifically a mata fina wrapper. Underneath is a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua. Días de Gloria Brazil is made at the main AJ Fernandez factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
It is offered in five regular production sizes.
- Días de Gloria Brazil Robusto (5 1/2 x 54)
- Días de Gloria Brazil Corona (6 1/2 x 44)
- Días de Gloria Brazil Toro (6 1/2 x 54)
- Días de Gloria Brazil Figurado (6 1/2 x 52)
- Días de Gloria Brazil Gordo (6 1/2 x 60)
The MSRP is set at $14-16 per cigar and each will come in boxes of 20 cigars.
“Días de Gloria Brazil celebrates the union of two exceptional worlds of tobacco,” says the company in a press release when the cigar was announced in March. “Honoring the rich roots of Brazil and the legacy of Nicaragua, AJ Fernandez captures the soul of traditional influences with this distinct and vibrant blend. While adorned with a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, AJ’s signature Nicaraguan binder & filler remains at the heart of this blend. In crafting this cigar, AJ Fernandez not only pays tribute to the glory days of tobacco but also will create new glory days for every connoisseur.”
Días de Gloria is Spanish for glory days.
No shipping update has been given for the company’s other release, the AJ Fernandez 20th Anniversary.
