Most of the time, when cigar companies announce changes to their pricing, it typically heads in one direction: up. In a small twist, Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, Inc. has informed its retailers that it will reduce prices on three of its lines.
Effective June 1, 2024, the company will reduce the prices of its Vintage 1990, Vintage 1992 and Vintage 1999 lines by 5 percent. All three of those blends are produced at STG Danlí.
The Vintage 1990, 1992 and 1999 are offered in the same sizes and priced the same. A Petite Corona (4 1/2 x 44) has an MSRP of $8.85, while the Six by Sixty (6 x 60) vitola will retail for $13.30.
These changes will not affect the Vintage 2003 and Vintage 2006 lines, which are made by Plasencia and TAVICUSA, respectively.
