Its name can give us a clue about its taste. Thousand of floral flavours may be appreciated if smoked quietly. This cigar can be considered the best machine-made in the whole Romeo y Julieta brand. A minimum ageing of at least three years is recommended. Strength 2/5.
Review #62: DEC 06 Good when young and fresh, but even better when well aged.
Hard to believe that this is a second-tier cigar
Smooth claro wrapper, excellent construction and even burn.
All finesse, mild yet rich, with good flavor of dried fruit and sweet spice, precious wood, and fine herbs.
Only a small notch below the R&J PC.
One of the best value for money smokes, and consistently satisfying.
Never has a bad one. – Submitted by RonSigler on September 27, 2023
Review #61: Good value. About what you expect for the price and a little better than that. Solid smoke and mild-medium taste. – Submitted by Dylan4 on December 27, 2019
Review #60: Unfortunately I have to review the cigar I smoked. If the others are any different I will give appropriate review at later time. Cigar was plugged or blocked and totally unsmokable. After much frustration of lighting and lighting and re-lighting and then finally cutting and cutting… It went straight into the bin. 0 score for this one. If it changes i will come back and give appropriate review because I realise these things happen with a hand made product – Submitted by npgSymboL on November 14, 2019
Review #59: — Haven`t smoke those for a while. Today I bought a box of 10, from OCT 2016,try one and I must say fell in love again. That R&j sweetness, that shinny wrapper were great. So I give them a 9.5. Very good cigar. – Submitted by joaozinho30 on December 12, 2017
Review #58: — This Cuban Romeo y Julieta Mille Fleurs was fresh out of the box, with a slight box press, from Cigar Terminal in Geneva. The bottom of the box had a factory code of EML, a date code of Abr 15, and the inscription Totalmente a Mano, meaning “totally by hand” or hand-made. The cigar cost $4.40 USD, including shipping to the USA, and I wanted to do this review on a fresh cigar that had not been sitting in a 120 cigar humidor with 4 to 6 other brands of cigars.
My evaluation this time is a little different than my previous review. The cigar was punched with good draw and burn for the 45-50 minute smoke. The flavor was typical for a RyJ cigar with peppery-spice and would compare with a Dominican made RyJ Reserve Real. This a good milder Cuban cigar for the price. A Cuban RyJ Mille Fleurs is the same size as a Cuban Montecristo No. 4 and compares in quality/flavor but a No. 4 is slightly stronger and costs a little more. If you want to loose the RyJ spicy taste you can go for a Cuban Bolivar, H. Upmann or Punch but they will be stronger and more expensive.
As an aside; if you wish to verify that your box of ‘Cuban’ cigars are truly authentic Cuban cigars, you can enter the unique serial number from the Warranty Seal at the Habanos SA website http://www.habanos.com/en/verificacion-de-autenticidad/ – Submitted by Douglas B on May 4, 2017
